BRIEF HISTORY
This church was born upon the vision of pastorate of Newlife Baptist Church, Rumuememe Port Harcourt and that of the family of Dn. & Dns. G.J. Ben. The
Deacon’s family was in Abuja for holiday in 2008. In search of a place of worship that period led them to start worshipping in their sitting room. As they began
that, the pastor of Newlife Baptist church Port Harcourt felt so strong that we come and start the church here in Sun City, Abuja. In that vein, Pastor Blessed was sent to come and conduct services for the family of Dn. Ben and see to the commencement of the church in July 2008. In August 2008, Rev. Tamaraebi Siloko was asked to come and continue the work. Rev. Siloko came the Sunday after the family of Dn. Ben left for Port Harcourt. The pastor was left with his wife and baby.
They started massive evangelism every morning, afternoon and evening. Yet for every Sunday it was only the pastor, his wife and their baby that holds the service. Not until one lady Mrs. Ajanigo decided to join us on Wednesdays and Sunday evenings for House Fellowship, and gradually she started coming on Sundays.
The mother church then organized a weekend of massive evangelism from 26th-28th September 2008, and the church was inaugurated on the 28th of September 2008 with 70persons in attendance including those from Port Harcourt..
The next Sunday 10 persons worshipped. Since then God has been growing His church through the hand of Rev. Tammy Siloko. Presently, by the grace of God, the church regular worshippers are about 350-400, with baptized members of about 300.
